Message From the Pastor

Since you are looking at our web site I am assuming that you are looking for a church or at least checking out our new web site. So I thought I would take the opportunity to tell you a bit about New Salem and myself.

Having been here for just about 3 years I have come to discover a great group of caring people who are seeking to know God’s direction for New Salem. They are very friendly and willing to help out those in need. I have found it an honor to serve this first year here with these people and I know they would love to welcome you to their fellowship. Although right now we are a small congregation we are seeking to grow and minister to others. If you were to attend I know you would be welcomed in Christian love and fellowship.

As for me and my wife we have been in the ministry for 3 years. We both believe that God called us to be at New Salem. It is our firm belief that God is getting ready to do great things here and we are extremely blessed. It is my belief that God has a terrific plan for those who follow him. I also believe that the bible is the true word of God and there is no substitute for the truths that are written in it. The bible is God’s word and prayer is our way to access the power he promised us. So through prayer and training in scripture we grow in closer fellowship with God and his people.

If you choose to attend we believe you will be part of God moving in His people. So I would like to encourage you to come and grow with us.
